The Skateful Dead 195 – 289 Zom B Cru

The Zom B Cru emerged in style on Sunday with a thrilling win over their undead rivals, The Skateful Dead. In a tense, entertaining and evenly matched bout in Halifax, the Inhumen powered through to take the victory, 289 – 195. The first period could have gone either way as the Skateful Dead, relatively unknown to the Inhumen, made their mark on the game with an early lead. It was shortlived though as the Zom B Cru responded in kind and there was barely a whisker between the two for the first thirty minutes. Toulouse then went on to capture everyone’s imaginations by putting on a superb performance in the MERDC 2012, coming in second, beating TIL along the way, losing to Southern Discomfort by just 2 points in one of the most exciting games of roller derby you could ever wish to see.
